Reports have emerged that Robert Lewandoski, the Poland international, has turned down a record-breaking deal move to China.

According to his agent, Cezary Kucharski, the striker could have earned more than what is paid to Carlos Tevez and this would have made him the highest earning player in the world.

Instead Lewandoski renewed his commitment to a new deal with the Bavarians in December last year, which will see him stay at the Alianz Arena until 2021.

When asked his reasons for not moving over to the Chinese club, his agent, Kucharski said the striker decided not to move because he was younger than Carlos Tevez. The agent also said that Bavarian striker could leave the club in the future.

The club’s “project 2021” continues to take good form since the Poland International renewed his deal and joined the likes of Thomas Muller, David Alaba, Mats Hummels, Jerome Boateng, Michael Neuer, Javi Marinez and Renato Sanchez in a promising long term future with the club.

After snubbing Real Madrid’s interest over him, Bayern’s prized asset wrote on his twitter hand: “This club gives me all I need to make my dreams come true.” Continue reading LEWANDOSKI REJECTS CHINA OFFER, RENEWS CONTRACT

Park Ji-Sung reckons his Stamina is Reason behind Playing all Big Matches

Park Ji-Sung reckons the reason he was a certainty in the Red Devils XI whenever they played a big match was that he had got the stamina to run a great deal.

Also he could play the holding game better than any other playmaker present at Old Trafford at that time.

Park says that the teams always look for an early lead in a big match and as an opposition, you have to make sure that you don’t give them that, otherwise, they can control the game from there. So, you need someone in the centre of the pitch who has good defensive skills and he was that kind of a guy. That’s why his coach Sir Alex always preferred him for big occasions.

As per Park, running is a habit that he had developed in his boyhood days itself. In the games that he played growing up as a kid, he wanted to catch everyone’s attention towards himself and wanted to be remembered for his performance and for that he used to run a hell of a lot so that everyone could notice him and that habit of running eventually gave him the fitness to continue it at the higher level and it became the strongest point of his game. Everton defender Ashley Williams has said that his former manager Coach Michael Laudrup helped him become more responsible but adds that Ronald Koeman has been wonderful as well since his move to Goodison Park.

Speaking at Everton’s Finch Farm training base the Welsh player spoke about defenders not forgetting the proven methods of playing with substance as against playing with ‘style’ from the back.

“There is going to come a point soon when it goes back to how it was. We’ve concentrated so much on attacking, I’m guessing a lot of people didn’t concentrate on the art of defending.

“Personally, I feel I’m a defender. That’s what I get paid to do. I get paid to stop the ball going in the net. I’m 32. Fans are never going to be surprised by what I do. You try to add to your game but you get paid to stop the ball going in the net,” Williams said.

Much emphasis has been placed on defenders being more into the attacking style of the team but Williams seem to hint that defenders should not forget their primary responsibility in the team which is to stop goals from opposing sides. Continue reading WILLIAMS –LAUDRUP MADE ME MORE RESPONSIBLE

Buying the right size for your football boots

Contrary to the buying of regular shoes, it is important that you buy football boots that fit you tightly.

A loose boot will cause blisters and may hinder your performance on the pitch. Indeed, it may be hard to get a precise ball control with a loose boot, and your shooting ability may also be hindered when your football boot does not fit you.

For this reason, you should spend time in choosing the best size for your football boot. You should also take into consideration that some boots materials are elastic and that they may become a bit larger during use. This is especially the case with leather boots. If you are buying a leather football booth, you might want to consider purchasing a boot that is slightly smaller than your regular size. This will allow for the stretching of the boot with time.

On the other hand, if you are buying a football boot that is made up of synthetic material, you should choose a boot that is as fitting as possible. This is because synthetic materials do not stretch that much and you might end up getting injured. Continue reading Buying the right size for your football boots
